Manual or instrument-assisted techniques to restore optimal function to the joints of the body. Our doctors use gentle adjustments to ensure restoration of proper mechanics and function to your joints.
Manual soft tissue manipulation (MSTM) aids in treating myofascial trigger points, improving muscular tonicity, and lengthening of muscle fibers.
Instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) aids in the breakdown and resorption of fascial adhesion (scar tissue), as well as improving circulation and expediting recovery.
Electrotherapy stimulates muscular tissue to release endorphins as a mild form of acute pain relief, while also interrupting muscular spasm at the cellular level.
Combining Ultrasound and EMS therapy through a focused head application allows for the best of both worlds. The EMS reduces muscle tension while the US provides a deep heat modality which jump starts tissue repair processes.
This targeted application gives a combination of traditional cupping therapy, with infrared light, heat, and a "breathing" intensity adjustment, allowing for maximum vascularization of the soft tissues resulting in reduced muscle tension, faster recovery, improved muscular connection.
Physician designed, therapist led exercises for your specific condition or diagnosis. These sessions are for those who need assistance, or coaching on how to perform these exercises, to use the appropriate muscles, and how they are supposed to feel for the body.
Fully customized exercise programs. Typically consisting a combination of stretches, mobility work, stabilizations, proprioceptive challenges, functional strengthening and conditioning. These are no cookie-cutter plans, but instead intended for the individual's specific condition or diagnosis.
Larry Webster, D.C., founder of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), developed a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment which enables chiropractors to establish balance in the pregnant woman’s pelvis and reduce undue stress to her uterus and supporting ligaments. This technique is known as the Webster Technique, and has been clinically shown to allow for optimal fetal positioning.
Approximately 4% of all pregnancies result in a breech presentation. The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT) reported in the July/August 2002 issue an 82% success rate of babies turning vertex when doctors of chiropractic used the Webster Technique.
We are always so proud of our patient-based approach to chiropractic care.
